Get the 32-bit version of VirtualDub from the developer and the plugin above. I hope others read this and save themselves a lot of frustration and wasted time. I spent an endless amount of time struggling with these issues. Get this FFMpeg Input Plugin instead: Put it in the Plugins folder and rejoice in all the formats it can open. It is too limited and still doesn't allow you to open MP4. Forget about the Portable Apps Plugins Pack. Why is this important? The vast majority of plugins are 32-bit and they CANNOT work in VirtualDub 64-bit.Ģ. There is no way to launch VirtualDub 32-bit. If you are running a 64-bit system (like me) the Portable Apps launcher detects that and launches the 64-bit version of VirtualDub. I gave up on this Portable Apps version of VirtualDub.
